The People Problem
The Migration from Wunderlist to To-Do
After Microsoft acquired Wunderlist, a popular cloud-based task management application in 2015 it made a promise that it would be able to offer a “competitive experience that includes Wunderlist’s best features” and users will still be able to import their content into Microsoft’s own To Do app.

Today, many dedicated Wunderlist users are still disappointed in what To-do has to offer as a replacement. Mostly, it expanded into a complex network of unwanted features that clutters up your Outlook calendar which forces you into the Microsoft ecosystem. I felt that To-do needed to be stripped down to its essential feature - managing tasks.
